VI. I interviewed two individuals to see what their response would be to my (our) plan. Their responses are as follows.
I interviewed Tali Bangert. Here is her response to our bill. " I think that is a good idea because we need a way to better control the number of illegal citizens in our country. This could drastically decrease the number of illegal immigrants. If all of the law enforcement has the authority to question someone about their citizenship we have more control over everything because we have eyes and ears everywhere. Even if this bill doesn't work as people hope, it's definitely not hurting anyone.
I interviewed Buddy Plumlee. Here is his response to our bill. " I think that the bill is a great idea because it would be the best way to control the illegal immigration that has built up in our nation. It would also help control over population that may be becoming a problem in our country. It would also help our economy because illegal immigrants are not paying taxes and are taking jobs from legal immigrants and other U.S. citizens. This bill would also be very easily implemented and would not be a strain on anyone because answering a few questions and showing some I.D. will only take a few minutes and protect the country."
